Odutola Vase
This vase is a quiet conversation between sculpture and function — hand-carved from stoneware, finished in a soft matte pink glaze, and detailed with removable brass and pearl-like jewelry accents that give it a subtle, personal touch. The removable adornments make cleaning effortless and allow you to style the piece in a way that best fits your space.
Shaped with intention in my Chicago studio, the piece carries its own gentle variations in surface and tone — marks of the hand that made it.
Whether used to hold seasonal blooms, or simply displayed on its own, this vase brings calm presence and quiet sophistication to shelves, consoles, or tabletops. The removable accents sit like jewelry on the rim, inviting slower, more considered looking.
• Handmade stoneware — wheel thrown and hand carved
• Matte pink glaze with natural variation and rusty highlights
• Removable decorative accents for easy care
• 9″ tall × 6″ wide
All of my vases are named after female artists. Most folks can’t name five female artists, so my hope is when people look at my vases on my website they get a little art history lesson too. This vase is named after Toyin Ojih Odutola.
